Embarcadero is the flagship product portfolio in Idera, Inc.’s Developer Tools business that also includes the Sencha web application development platform.
In the last six months, Embarcadero released four product updates, added 25,000 members to its user community, and launched Embarcadero Academy, an online school for developers of all levels. The company also announced a series of third-party integrations and partnerships with Byte Academy, TMS Software, CData and TatukGS that increase the breadth and depth of tools and resources available to application developers.

Recent product updates include:
- RAD Studio: 10.2 Tokyo Release 1 – offers improved support for the latest versions of iOS and Xcode, Windows 10 Creators Update with BPL loading, and Android performance and quality.
- Enterprise Connectors – leverages RAD Studio FireDAC technology to reduce the complexity of connecting to multiple data sources such as CRM, ERP, big data and NoSQL, and make CData's adapters easily accessible to Delphi and C++ developers.
- InterBase: 2017 Update 1 – includes Developer and Server Editions for MacOS Universal build (32-bit and 64-bit platforms), Server Edition bug fixes and performance enhancements for Windows and Linux, support for Windows 10 Creators Update, and SQL features support for Expression Indices, ORDER BY and GROUP BY Expression.
- RAD Server Solution Series: Hospitality – includes a mobile client application for collecting survey data, a back-end server to store data and administer surveys, a web client for viewing survey results, and multi-tenancy support for managing surveys from multiple restaurants.
Embarcadero also launched Embarcadero Academy, an educational initiative operated in partnership with CodePower, offering a wide variety of expert-led courses in Delphi and C++Builder skills and technologies. To date, more than 1,500 people have enrolled in Embarcadero Academy coursework to advance their programming skills.
